calmly floating down,
ingenuity wins out.
murder plot foiled.
nock, pull and let fly
his aim true with each release
nine rogue suns shot down
music, books, floating,
life at a much gentler pace,
leaves on the surface.
the general stood and
learned how to strangle armies.
go observation.
kings of three beings,
celestial all - watching
the earthly ones live.
swimming together
unlikely friends in the sea
helping each other
down to earth it came
to form life’s very nectar!
the spirit goat saw
although it was strange,
through our meeting he never
appeared to be dead
from the higher ground
it stares the smaller cat down.
meeting of muscle.
older and wiser,
each of us have reached our peaks -
my fox spirit friend
pouncing on my enemies
invulnerable
the blank eyed crow dives -
birds too big for prey wonder
why does it do this?
fox spirit revealed
their minds already racing
as to the next move.
night heron by day
stands wearily watching the
birds playing by day
the chase is ended,
the savage embrace concludes.

even cute monsters
are a threat to human life.

hiding amongst the normals
will always stand out
myna makes them laugh.
but too much and they will fall;
unfortunate fate.
hissing and arching,
claws bared and ready to attack.
hibiscus patch fight.
eyes on his daughter
eyes on the business at hand
dragon kings will feud.
glancing at the scroll -
closest she’ll get to power.
she knows not this yet.
the pandemic of
sad animals spread too fast.
deer, boar, bear are last.
men from far away -
why do they rattle me so
I see them this way?
“see how they fly high?”
“can they run as fast as we?”
“can clouds catch the sun?”
your flesh immortal,
my dead flesh will never rot -
would that i were you!
hear the peacock shriek,
phoenix rising at its side.
eternal brothers.
ducks above, under.
ripples they spread out to me
as I stand forlorn.
eyes fixed forever
seeking help from the heavens.
a boar shot in snow.
my life ends in snow,
my final bed is frozen.
it will not last long.
