a moment in a
long night lasts a horribly,
awfully, long time.
the moment after
a short night makes you question
you’ve had enough sleep.
a moment in a
good night might be a long one
in a pleasant dream,
or
a moment in a
good night might transport you as
you lie back warmly.
a moment in a
bad night burns itself into
your worst memories.
most moments, most nights,
are just blank pieces of sleep
unworthy of note.
in one long night i
sought to solve all my problems..
this one will not work.
